And here I thought I was leaving all my bad habits in high school.
Things are difficult but only ever frivolously. University has been stressful. My art tutor lost my visual diary. I miss all my trains and buses by seconds. I have nightmares every night, a far stand from never having had nightmares in years. But they are frivolous things too — I kissed a boy who wasn’t mine. I locked a stranger in a wheelie bin. I set a house on fire, by accident, and killed everybody in it. I danced on a cold beach. I drowned on a cold beach. I lost my memory and spoke a language that didn’t exist. I cried, a lot, and I hid. I hid from authority and I hid things from people.
But everything else, everything that matters, I suppose, is at its very best. Things have been wonderful and it’s a nice thing to feel. It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to say that I am happy, but even sleepless at four in the morning, close to tears over this death of an essay, things are wonderful.
ppl like dat r like totally gross if u ask me~
also mark wahlberg is pretty cool but retarded mark wahlberg from uni is the best <3333333
i hate to pull a cliche, but i listen to a lot, if not all, genres. i find favourite artist/song/etc. questions particularly difficult to answer because i’m far too pedantic to pick favourites, but my biggest loves i suppose are noisy surf rock like surfer blood and wavves, sixties rock pop like the kinks/zombies/beatles (i saw you posted the chocolate watchband, i adore them too), mousy lighthearted stuff like little joy, local natives, okkervil river and beach house, good sex music like the black keys, good-looking poetic young men like sondre lerche, whimsies like blind pilot and miniature tigers, a mix of oldies like frank sinatra and sam cooke, and a plethora of slightly embarrassing loves from genres i admit i haven’t grown out of. i also really love someone still loves you boris yeltsin, pixies, the strokes, the walkmen, fleet foxes, arcade fire, cut copy, the weakerthans and i cannot forget to mention my eighth grade love for british pop bands like the fratellis, the pigeon detectives, the wombats, the maccabees, los campesinos, foals and yes…even the arctic monkeys.
what a pretentious post. i apologise.
thank you! i only just realised the theme link is broken, the owner must have moved or renamed their url. i can’t for the life of me remember the creator but i’m pretty sure the theme was called “crescent moons”. i did edit it quite a lot with my limited knowledge of html, just to change the font, banner length, previous/next page icons and general width sizes to suit my preferences. i’d be more than happy to help if you decide to do the same. :) i’ll keep an eye out for this theme for you and let you know if i find it.
haha i admit, covering my face with my hair is a skill i’ve mastered many years ago. i consider myself a veteran face coverer. and that’s great, i’m quite keen to see how this shoot of yours turns out!
haha i’d offer to lend you my face, but that really isn’t something you’d want to see on film. that’s exciting though, i’m predicting they’ll turn out pretty sweet
